My name is Julian Routh and you have stumbled upon my personal blog.
I am a sophomore multiplatform journalism major at Duquesne University, the news editor for The Duquesne Duke (www.duqsm.com) and a fellow in the news department for 90.5 WESA in Pittsburgh.
When I'm not reporting and writing, I'm putting together videos. I have a passion for telling stories, and what better way to do so than with a camera and Premiere Pro? Here's some of my finest work.
Dented FretBoard started in 2011 as a variety blog, and a place to publish my musings. As time went on, and my love for sports was replaced by a passion for news, the project took a variety of shapes. At different times, it was a daily diary; sports commentary collection; interview gathering; everything.
